How Does Coaching Work?
As your coach, I will point out perspectives you haven't considered, offer input, observations and constructive feedback and ask you thought provoking and challenging questions. I will help you identify your next steps, support you in taking them and then hold you accountable in following through. I will enthusiastically celebrate your successes with you and help you sustain your growth and learning. Overall, I aim to facilitate you experiencing yourself and your life in new ways.
Coaching sessions are done on the telephone. This allows you to receive coaching wherever is most convenient for you - at home, the office, virtually anywhere. In person Coaching is also available, if you prefer. Appointment times are scheduled on a weekly or every-other-week basis and contracted for at least one month at a time. Coaching may be brief to work on a specific goal or may last over a longer period of time as several issues are addressed.

Goals may be big or small, focusing on any area of your life such as:
- Career Fulfillment and Life/Work Balance
- Life Transitions and Major Life Changes
- Relationships, Family or Parenting
- Time Management and Organization
- Health, Well - Being and Self-Care
- Eating and Weight Issues
- Fun and Creative Pursuits
- Personal and Spiritual Growth, Life Purpose
Coaching for Children and Teens
I also Coach children and teens on issues such as: time management, organization and focus in relation to homework, chores or other responsibilities, improving academic, athletic or musical performance, improving communication, conflict resolution and social skills.
How is Coaching Different from Counseling?
Coaching is about change but it is not counseling or psychotherapy in that it has a more forward-looking, goal-oriented focus. However, separate coaching can be useful along with THERAPY.
